Data deletion requests
Ask for Jamie does not allow public users to create accounts.
Public users can use the app without signing in. The app does not ask public users for their name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, or other personal contact details.
The app may record anonymous usage statistics, such as which support categories are selected, which organisations are shown, and whether contact buttons are tapped. These statistics are used to understand whether the app is helping people find support. They are not intended to identify individual users.
Admin accounts are created manually outside the app by an authorised Ask for Jamie administrator after access has been requested and approved.
To request deletion of data linked to an admin account, or to ask about data held by Ask for Jamie, contact:
contact@askforjamie.org.uk
Please include enough information for us to understand the request, such as the email address used for admin access if applicable.
Data that can be deleted may include:
- admin account access details where applicable
- data directly linked to an admin account where applicable
Data that may be kept may include:
- anonymous usage statistics that are not linked to an identifiable person
- records that must be kept for security, legal, safeguarding, audit, or operational reasons
Deletion requests will be reviewed and handled as soon as reasonably possible.
